The Nexense™ Rain Sensor is a product of the generic Nexense sensor technology. The system uses our unique technology to excite the surface of the windshield, turning the windshield into a sensitive surface area that detects rain. Upon detection, the sensor transmits the data to the Data Signal Processing (DSP) unit which interprets the information and forwards the appropriate command to the wiper control unit. The sensor adds its advantages in its low cost and ability to overcome the Infra Red deficiencies.
